Message I have not handled this aggressively at all to this point. Let's be clear on the difference between frustration and aggression. Frustration is me blowing off steam because of the poor results of the motor we purchased from you. Aggression is making things happen. Two completely different things and I am completely capable of both.

I have no doubt. But posting lies about my machine shop *before* I was contacted and before the motor was even diagnosed put me on the defensive. You still have not proven 100% that it is a machine shop error yet you still blame me and my machine shop. That is aggression to me and I get defensive about my reputation and my machine shops reputation.

additionally, your mention of counter suing is in no way a deterent to me. I do very little in my life half way.

Again...that was no way directed at you personally. I was proving a point that we get sued for stupid shit and it ends up costing us money.

I did not refuse anything; I declined it.

OK you declined my offer of a warranty. But it was offered. It is not like we told you to fuck off.

It goes right back to the reason we parted ways to begin with; the quality of the work. It distresses me also when you seem pleased that since the motor made it past one dyno pull (it had 7 actually) that everything was "A O.K.". I would be embarrased if I sold a motor that I did not EXPECT to make it a bit longer than that.

If I was pleased I wouldn't be here. I would just keep my mouth shut. Do I *personally* think it was a machine shop error...NO. Do I think it is possible...YES. Everyone makes mistakes. Was I willing to correct said mistake if it was proved to be a mistake on our part...Absolutely.

Many people purchase motors from you because they think they are getting a warranty that will mean something.

It does mean something. Just what is stated on the website plain as day. If we made a mistake...you will get the motor repaired or replaced free for one year or three years if you buy the extended warranty.

These people would be much better off buying the parts themselves and having a local shop do the work. This way if there is a problem, the shop with cover the R&R, etc ($$$).

That depends on the shops warranty. I know of several very high end shops that offer no warranty on race motors. If it starts up and doesn't smoke..then you are done. Actually one of the huge supra tuners on the east coast told me that to my face. He told me we were crazy for offering a warranty.

The next point would then be what kind of real warranty exists when having you install a motor? My guess is that you will say you have never had to warranty anything free of charge because it has always been someone else's fault.

Actually why don't you ask Mike(austin) how much he paid for his new short block with all brand new parts? That was not our mistake...but we paid for it. Ask Fred how much he paid in labor for all the motor pulls we did on his car during the whole TEC turbo ordeal. Ask Damon who bought Dallas Damon's white car how much he paid in labor when his TEC turbos went bad or how FAST I did it for him(click)?? I could go on and on. We have done our share of *warranty* FREE work when the parts were bought from us and installed by us.

I am sure that out of the 100 motors you have sold, you could come up with someone who had a problem that you warranted hassle free. It would be good to hear from someone like that.

I have had to warranty one motor. It was one of the first motors we built with Weisco pistons. We were not told that the Weisco pistons had a 2mm off set on the wristpin and the pistons had to be installed a certain direction. I built a short block for a guy in Fl. and sent the motor to him. Well we caught the mistake a day or two after he had received it. I promply called him and *paid* to have it 3 day aired by Fedex back to the shop. We received it on a Friday afternoon and my machine shop picked it up and had it back to me by Saturday afternoon. Then I *paid* to have it sent back to the customer 3 Day freight. I will email the customer tomorrow morning and I am sure he can come and confirm my story.

So yes I do take care of my customers :-)
